Networking
The
Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy takes part in regional and global
activities with like-minded organisations and individuals to share, learn,
explore and strengthen the promotion of philanthropy. This networking
infuses our efforts with new approaches to problem solving and connects
us with a world of contemporary information and technical resources.
These international networks include:

PCP is on the Governing Council of the 13 member Asia Pacific Philanthropy
Consortium. This is an informal network of organisations promoting
philanthropy to and within Asia. Other members include Australia,
Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Philippines,
Taiwan, Thailand and the United States.

The Global Philanthropy Forum serves to inspire, inform, and expand the
international philanthropic community by matching individual grant-makers
to vehicles for overseas giving, assisting foundations and governmental
donor agencies in finding partners in global philanthropy, and by
highlighting international issues of concern.

CIVICUS is an international alliance dedicated to strengthening citizen
action and civil society throughout the world. CIVICUS seeks to amplify
the voices and opinions of ordinary people. The organisation believes that
for effective and sustainable civic participation to occur, citizens must
enjoy rights of free association and be able to engage all sectors of
society.
