is an extensive resource developed to answer the queries of different stake holders related to rules of tax exemption and its benefits. The booklet has provided an elaborate system whereby the Not-For-Profit Organizations (NPOs) understand tax laws and get familiar with the process through which an NPO gets tax exemption and attain an NPO status. It encapsulates predominantly tax benefits of a CSO in terms of its NPO status under section 2(36) of the (ITO) 2001, its income under clause 58 of II schedule of ITO 2001 and entitlement of tax credit to persons for charitable donations under section 61 of the ITO 2001.
