PCP's flagship programme; 'Philanthropy Support Services'  aims to help philanthropists enhance the impact of their giving.

It encompasses services that develop capacities and explore workable approaches to good giving. The programme launched its first support initiative; the 'Public Private Partnerships Programme' in 2003. This initiative also known as the '3 P' helps philanthropists establish linkages with partners of their choice from civil society and the public sector for social development projects.

The Certification Programme seeks to bring transparency, accountability and good governance in the nonprofit sector in Pakistan. The first initiative of its kind in South Asia; it involves the evaluation of a nonprofit organisation on standardised parameters of internal governance, financial management and programme delivery.

This voluntary assessment aims to enhance the NPOs' credibility and resultantly their access to funding.
Through the allied activities of this programme, PCP promotes certified NPOs in an annual directory and on its website and also builds capacities of nonprofit organisations for improved effectiveness.                                                                                                                                             read more about this programme

The Research programme at the PCP aims to enhance understanding of various dimensions of philanthropy by exploring factors and sources that affect or have the potential to affect philanthropy and social development in Pakistan.  The core objective of our agenda is to make research findings available for development practitioners to better plan and organise social investment for civic benefit in Pakistan. This programme is committed to expanding the empirical map on voluntary giving, which remains largely unexplored. Sharing this evidence based information through effective communication channels is also an integral part of our mandate.
